Eliezer

This term has multiple meanings in the Bible:

  1. A servant of Abraham who was from the city of Damascus. Before Abraham had his sons, Ishmael and Isaac, he followed the customs of his time by choosing Eliezer to inherit his property (Genesis 15:2).
