The Letter of Eugnostos is an early example of non-Christian Gnostic writing. The author of The Wisdom of Jesus Christ (a Christian Gnostic work) may have based his work on the Letter of Eugnostos. seeks to explain the existence of an unseen spiritual world. It also emphasizes God’s distance from humanity.
