A man living at the time of the exile and return, first mentioned in Ezra 2:15.

About Adin

An ancestor of a group of people who returned to Judah with Zerubbabel after the exile in Babylon. A comparison of various lists shows that different groups of Adin’s descendants returned at different times (Ezra 2:15; 8:6; Nehemiah 7:20; 1 Esdras 5:14; 8:32).
