About Agur

Jakeh’s son. Although he was not an Israelite, he wrote or collected the sayings in Proverbs 30. Agur was from Massa (Proverbs 30:1), an area of northern Arabia that was settled by a son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:14; 1 Chronicles 1:30).
