About Akkub (Gatekeeper)
An ancestor to a family of Levite gatekeepers who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel after the exile in Babylon (Ezra 2:42; Nehemiah 7:45). This name was shared by two of his descendants (#3 and #6 below).
