King of Judah during the divided kingdom. He was a son of Manasseh and Meshullemeth and father of King Josiah.
About Amon (Son of Manasseh)
King Manasseh’s son, the 15th king of Judah. He ruled from 642 to 640 BC. Amon was 22 years old when he became king. He worshiped idols like his father. But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made his son Josiah king in his place.
