A man from the tribe of Benjamin and father of Shimei, who lived during the time of Israel’s united kingdom.
About Gera
The father of Shimei. Shimei cursed and threw stones at King David during the rebellion of Absalom. Later, he begged David to pardon him (2 Samuel 16:5; 19:16–18; 1 Kings 2:8).
