Hadad (Genesis 25:15)

Hadad, also known as Hadar in Ben Chaim, was a son of Ishmael and brother to many siblings, living during the time of the patriarchs as mentioned in Genesis 25:15.

About Hadad (Genesis 25:15)

1. Eighth of the 12 sons of Ishmael, and thus a grandson of Abraham (Gn 25:15; 1 Chr 1:30). The kjv reads “Hadar” in Genesis 25:15 and “Hadad” in 1 Chronicles 1:30, whereas rsv and nlt read “Hadad” in both passages.
