Moadiah (Maaziah)

Moadiah, also known as Maaziah or Maadiah, was a Levitical priest during the time of the exile and return, mentioned in Nehemiah 10:8, 12:5, and 12:17.

About Moadiah (Maaziah)

Head of a family of postexilic priests, whose house was headed by Piltai during the days of Joiakim the high priest (Neh 12:17); alternately called Maadiah in verse 5. See Maadiah.
