Nahash, a man of the Ammonites living during the time of Israel's united kingdom and mentioned in 2 Samuel 17:27, was the father of Shobi.

The father of Shobi from Rabbah. Shobi was from Rabbah, the main city of the Ammonites. He helped David when David ran away from Absalom. Shobi brought supplies to David and his men (2 Samuel 17:27). This Nahash might be the same person as #1 above.
