Put, also known as Phut, is a man first mentioned in Genesis 10:6 as a son of Ham and brother of Canaan, Cush, and Egypt, living during the time of the patriarchs.
About Put
Third of Ham’s four sons, who most likely settled in northern Africa and is perhaps the forefather of the peoples of Egypt and Libya (Gn 10:6; 1 Chr 1:8).
