A son of the patriarch Ephraim and father of Eran and Bered. He was founder of the clan of the Shuthelahites.

A son of Ephraim, the brother of Beker and Tahan, and the father of Eran and Bered. He founded the Shuthelahite family and was an ancestor of Joshua the son of Nun (Numbers 26:35; 1 Chronicles 7:20, 27).
