A mountainous region in the hill country of Ephraim

About Gaash

A mountain about 32.2 kilometers (20 miles) southwest of Shechem. The Israelites buried Joshua at Timnath-serah (Timnath-heres). This was in the hill country of Ephraim, near Mount Gaash (Joshua 24:30; Judges 2:9).
