About Floor
The Hebrew word qarqa‘ in NUM 5:17 describes the unpaved dirt floor of the Tabernacle. We are not told if Solomon’s Temple had paved floors, but since 1KI 6:30 says that he overlaid them with gold, we may assume that they had some kind of paving, either wood or stone.
