Jedidiah (Solomon)

King

Also known as King Solomon, he was a king of the tribe of Judah during Israel's united kingdom, son of David and Bathsheba, and called Jedidiah at his birth (2 Samuel 12:25).

About Jedidiah (Solomon)

A name meaning “beloved of the Lord [Yahweh].” God told Nathan the prophet to give Solomon this name soon after his birth. Solomon was the second son of King David by Bathsheba (2 Samuel 12:24–25).
