Description and usage

The screen was a large hanging curtain that was suspended from five posts. It served as a kind of door to the Tabernacle, almost like a tent flap. Its purpose was to block from public view the activities that went on inside the Tabernacle. See the description at Posts from which curtains were hung in and around the Tabernacle.

Translation

The Hebrew word masak is used for the hanging at the entrance to the Holy Place and also for the curtain that hung at the entrance to the outer courtyard of the Tabernacle complex.
