Areli

A man of the tribe of Gad living during the time of Egypt and the wilderness, mentioned in Genesis 46:16.

About Areli

One of Gad’s seven sons (Genesis 46:16). After the plague of Baal-peor, Moses took a census to prepare for war with the Midianites (Numbers 25:6–18; 26:17). Areli’s descendants, called the Arelites, were counted in the census.
